The Observatório do Clima coordinated the report of the Challenges and opportunities to reduce methane emissions in Brazil. According to the data, Brazil is in a position to adopt a methane reduction target greater than the 30% proposed for 2030 by the Global Methane Pledge, a voluntary agreement signed in 2021 in Glasgow by around 120 countries. The study involved the participation of Ipam, Imaflora, IEMA, and ICLEI.
