In partnership with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, IEMA presents this study regarding the transition that the Brazilian automotive industry is experiencing. Its aim was to identify the challenges that the industry will have to overcome in order to contribute to an inclusive, low-emission mobility, preserving, creating and improving jobs, as well as maintaining and developing domestic production capacity. The focal aspect of the inclusive, low-emission urban mobility on which this work focuses is the prioritization of public transport over private individual transport, as well as the application of technologies with lower environmental impacts.
